Just a couple of quick questions! My lad is getting a bit chubby so am wanting to reduce his feed, which would mean he is not getting recommended amount and therefore less vits/mins etc, so am just looking for a vit supplement really. Thought pink powder might be worth a try, but is it ok for a reasonably good doer? Only asking as it's normally promoted for weight gain/condition and we certainly don't need any help with that!
Also he's quite fussy and has already rejected NAF General purpose supplement so just wondering have you ever had any problems with it with fussy feeders?
Thank you!

I really rate Pink Powder. It does help with weight gain because it provides probiotics so that they can get more from their feed. This shouldnt effect you if you are reducing your horses feed. As a feed balancer I really rate PP and it is a very cost effective option. It is also flavoured with vanilla so should help a fussy eater. If not then perhaps adding mint or fenugreek to the feed will help.

Hang on!!!

I was in the same situation with my boy- baylies lo cal put too much weight on so I switched him to pink powder however...

I then found 'slimline' by naf which is all the vits and mins for a slimming horsie :) put my boy on it 2 days ago, hes on reduced soaked hay overnight and a small feed at night of healthy hooves and turned out all day on poor grass, he's slowly loosing it so all good, will be able to start working him soon too so that'll help!
