Can anyone advise please whether Pink Powder is very palatable? I was going to buy some for my old mare as she has started eating droppings, but she won't normally touch powders! Also, is it OK to mix Pink Powder with another supplement? I was thinking of feeding it to my mare who is recovering from plant poisoning, along with milk thistle? Any advice appreciated.

Pink Powder was no problem for any of mine. If your mare finds it a little powdery, try adding the powder to the bucket first, followed by a bit of water/apple juice, then mixing it in with the rest of the feed. It's designed as a general supplement/probiotic, so can't imagine that it's a problem to feed with milk thistle.

i feed it to my cob who doesn't like powders in his tea, all he has is a large handful of alfa a oil, garlic and his pink powder, all mixed together with a mug full of water..
You could get the small tub £13.95 and see if she likes it.

My gelding get his just on a cup of balancer. He licks his bowl clean so I guess it tastes ok. He isn't at all fussy though.

That's good to know. Lucy is usually very fussy so I am surprised she is suddenly finding horse poo tasty!? Must be very deficient in something I guess

pink powder is the only supplement my hunter will touch (it helps that you need so little of it). If horsie lacks iron too then Visorbin is very good and horses LOVE the taste of that, sticky sweet green stuff yum yum.

Thanks for that. The latest is that I have fed Lucy the Pink Powder in feeds of Speedibeet & Happy Hoof and she has polished it off no problem

Ellie has eaten hers too- but that was never going to be a problem! So fingers crossed it will help them recover..Oh and Ellie had Equi-Sup to support her after the poisoning, that was green and tasty so must have been similar to the Visorbin!
