Well my skinny poor doer TB has been on pink powder since Saturday, i am also slowly introducing calm and condition cubes along with speedi beet which she has been having for a while, uppped her feed to 3 per day, she has a shared pick at 1 bale of hay in the field for a few hours daily and adlib when she comes in at 230......took her rug off today and am pleased to say i can see a difference already! touch wood this is the secret to weight gain that works for her!
Also when i rode her out today she seemed really really relaxed and very laid back, and shes in season?? normally shes nuts in season, am loving th new chilled out mare

does pink powder have a calming effect?

woohoo, that is a result. Haven't yet started feeding the PP I bought for my skinny TB (she's on C&C too) as still got ½sack of TopSpec to use up but might be worth switching now to get results like that

Somebody else mentioned their horse was calmer on Pink Powder. My pony has been on pink powder since November and she is so much calmer...a different pony!! Not sure if this is because of the Pink Powder or her new high fibre/low starch diet. Either way, im not changing anything!

So glad to hear your horsey is feeling better. Lets hope things are on the up and she continues to do well.

Absolutely! Started feeding it to my gelding a couple of weeks ago. I have never seen a change like it. He is so much more relaxed & chilled out. My Mum is astounded as he is is usually quite a grumpy type - more so with her. I have tried various things over the years - brewers yeast, and various other pre-biotics / pro-biotics. I had resigned myself to the fact that it is just his personality. But the results of pink powder have been astounding. He is even listening to me more on hacks, and his attitude in his last lesson was brilliant. Really positive, listening, responsive. Very happy owner!

Sorry Natalie_H. It was you who I was thinking of. I still have baby brain forgive me!

Loving the Pink Powder. The price is great too! When i spoke to Naf they said that there is no ill effects feeding it long term as it is a feed balancer. They recommend that if your horse has been wormed, on bute or antibiotics etc, to just add another scoop for a few days to help them.

Hi SmartieBean. Just read last nights post & realised it must have been me you were referring to! It is great stuff isn't it! I guess what suits some doesn't suit all as I tried biotal gold, brewers yeast, acti-premium, and a couple of dengie supplements. No difference on any of them. This stuff is incredible. You are right about the price too. I can't believe its the same horse. I've had him 7 years, so I'm sure its the pink powder.

Thanks for the info re: wormer / anti-biotics etc. Glad you are seeing the same great results. My horse is quite dominant, and he is even giving his field chum an easier time of things!
