Hi all, might have seen my post recently considering 2 yards, have now had a call saying pinkmead have a space and i am now even more torn

Can people tell me there opinions on the place please?

Thanks a lot

I didn't feel liveries were a prority, but this was a few years ago.
The yard is ok, though the indoor is surface was very hard. Felt very much like a riding school

It is no1 a RS I think, but it is well maintained and some people have been there a long time which is always a good thing. High turnover of liveries always puts me off.

Personally I don't like places that turn out in big herds (which they do) as there is aways fisticufs and injuries. They also have restricted grazing throughout the winter.

On your other thread you were talking about the a permit for hacking. I take it that's Manor Farm. You do realise you are only allowed to walk around there? I wouldn't pay the money for one!!!

What kind of livery are you looking for? May be able to recommend some places. pm if you like. I'm a RS so know a lot of yards in the area.

Have been told by pinkmead that yes the RS does take priority but been told be liverys that there is still spaces you can ride, and the turnout is restriced yes but thats not so important to me as he doesnt really like going out in the winter anyway and is a big wuss!!

Just looking for somewhere with nice stables, school that i can ride in all year round (bar snow or something) and enough turnout for a sensible price and around botley hedge end bursledon area
