I am first on the wait list for above clinic and have just been offered a place in the pre novice section, has anyone here had a clinic with her before
Thoughts please, need to make a decision by tomorrow

I've heard she's not a very good instructor. She does often get on them though and aparently that really helps as she rides them so nicely on the flat.

If it's very expensive I wouldnt bother

Im a great fan of Pippa, as I can relate alot to the same sort of nerves she used to have and negative issues.

Having read her book, watched all her DVD's, watch some clinics she has done and seen her out competing alot, I would jump at the chance for a clinic with her, I will hopefully on my clinic mission!

I say go for it, especially if it isnt too expensive

I echo what Bossanova has said. I've done several clinics with her through the Pony Club, but I don't rate her as a trainer. Having said that, she may be more comfortable in a one to one situation than a group of people!

Thank you all for the replies, I had to make the decision earlier so have said yes.
Thought I might ask about nerves as I suffer a lot and as Holly said she has battled against them.
Only thing is I have a XC clinic the day before so will be a bit like doing a 3 day

I have done a clinic with Pippa and also a few 1-2-1 sessions. I thought that she was ok in the clinic and certainly gave some quite useful tips. CMP is right though - in a 1-2-1 she is much better and I would have done more sessions with her if it wasn't so awkward to get to her yard.
On one lesson she had been working on my position throughout and after about 1hr 15mins there was a noticeable improvement & I was getting quite tired, she then decided that we should go into the lungeing pen so that I could canter without reins and stirrups. Another 30mins later out came a relaxed horse and a very sweaty rider !! Her attitude is that she expects perfection and will keep working on one thing as long as it takes before moving on.

I think this is something she was taught by Ruth, make some perfect b4 moving on!

What do you mean it is difficult to get to her yard?
