Please can anyone tell me who to contact to arrange a lesson with Pippa funnell. 2 weeks ago I came off my horse and damaged my liver, needless to say no riding or yard duties for me :(. A young friend has stepped right up into the plate, and although she shares my daughters horse has taken over a lot of the duties for my horse even keeping him fit for my return. As a thank you, I would like to book her a lesson with Pippa, who is her idol !!!!!!! Thank you

You would be better off trying to contact them through Billy Stud.

Thanks for your ideas, I have tried googling and sent a message to their stud with no joy. Keep the ideas coming please, as I sit here bored stiff I am determined to sort this. Lol:rolleyes:

I have sent you her email address, I didn't realise you'd already tried the stud email address though... if you have no luck at all with the personal email addy, I do have phone numbers if you are really stuck.

I wonder how far she'd travel for lessons etc... She's my favourite rider too. No idea on how to contact her mind but very jealous!

Thanks for your ideas, still no luck contacting Pippa funnell, despite 2 e.mails to billy stud and, 1e.mail to William funnell. I appreciate these people are really busy, so will keep trying. If anyone knows of any other way to contact them, please let me know. Thank you

Are you a member of the EHOA? You might have access to her through them?

I think part of the problem may be that she isn't a rider who does a lot of teaching. I know she's done the odd clinic for EHOA but there are a lot of top class eventers who do a lot more teaching than she does. It may just not be her thing. I hope you get an answer anyway, either way.

To add to the above, she also, between her string and the Stud, has a lot of riding and competing to do. It may simply be that she doesn't have time to teach. I'm a bit surprised no one has been in touch, if only to say it's not an option, but this would be a very busy time of the year for them.

I think I'd give her a bit longer to answer, tbh. I am sure she is extremely busy. I do have her phone numbers but am not really sure I should give them out... please give her longer to respond, and if you have no joy after a week let me know.

Is there anyone else on your list of possibles? General consensus seems to be that Pippa does very little teaching and while obviously you want to confirm with her directly, there might be other people around who more in the way of clinics or regular lessons at one of your local xc courses.

I am just trying to make someone's dream come true after all the help she's given following my accident. Pippa is her idol and she would never think it possible to have a lesson from her. I won't give up yet !!

Will you be able to travel to Pippa's yard with a horse for the lesson, I suspect that might make it a bit easier, at a guess... if she's v v busy that would only take an hour or so of her time, whereas travelling elsewhere might possibly be the deal-breaker. Just a thought anyway...

Oh yes, I did state that wherever was convenient for her as we have transport. I might have to get a life size cut out and stand behind it and pretend to be Pippa !!! Lol
