We have had a few vets have a look at his mouth as none of them seemed to know what it was. The good news is it isn't from bit action (HUGE relief), or from eating any thing. The think it is probably just a virus from getting run down. So now i feel aweful for taking him to a 2 day event the week after Austria

, but very relieved I didn't run him XC.
It looks to be healing

, although I am unsure as to if I should take him to the last 3 events of the year, all championships. I don't think I will but I am giving him another week off to see how it goes.

Thanks for all your vibes.!

I didn't realise Pip was under the weather (must have missed that post).

I hope he recovers soon - it would be such a shame to miss those Championships

I guess you could have him checked before the first Championships to make sure he's OK, as it would be a shame to miss them unneccessarily?

Yes, It would be ashame. The 1st one is the nationals, that is the 1st time I will have been able to go, at the second, the East Anglian Champs I won the PN last year and the last is international. He has given me so much this year I would hate for him to do event when he is not right. Also in the equation is how he will be after a break...I would be very embarassed if he was abit too sparky and cantered round the dressage.
But then he is not doing the winter season so hummm. I'll see once his mouth has fully healed how he is.
