Caught the wheel on wifes car on the kerb, tyre only fitted just before xmas, needed new tyre £54.50, his lordship ripped his £55.00 rug in the field, so chucked it and put other one on, comes this morning he's ripped that one as well

Now that is an expensive day! Is there no way the ripped rug can be patched up...or is it a typical 'horse rip' good and proper?
 
Sat here for an over an hour sewing this blasted thing, superglued the thread to try and make it stonger, so hope it stays ok, he's had to go out in a short kneck rug tonight, at least it aint too cold, good job I luv him
