Pissie pony!!

I have had Ollie for a few days and he is stabled over night. I have put him on shavings to start with (only at the yard temperary) but he is pretty wet and smelly.

Can anyone suggest a good bedding for a wet horse?

Wood pellets? I have a big horse and IF I can catch it he can 3/4 fill a bucket in one go. On the pellets I can leave the wet patches for several days, but he is on a deep bed so it doesn't smell either.

We used Hemcore for a very wet, dirty and BIG horse and it worked very very well. Didn't get stinky or wet everywhere and much more economical for him than straw or shavings.

If I had a dirty/wet horse again I would be straight in there with the Hemcore!
