Places to box to in Devon?

OK, now that I have a new 4x4 and fully serviced trailer, I can start to have some fun outings again avec le Pony. We have a full endurance season planned, but as well as that, I'm looking for suggestions of good places to explore. She is stabled on Aylesbeare Common, so I am aiming for good locations within an hour's drive. We're heading to Haldon this weekend, and I have friends on Dartmoor where we will go when the ground has dried out. Oh, and obviously, we'll be heading to the beach asap!!!

Is anyone in the area and can suggest good spots in Devon, West Dorset or South Somerset?

Exmoor and the Quantocks are both wonderful places to explore on horseback. Also slightly further afield around Norton in Gloucestershire. Also the Elan Valley or around the Doethie in Mid Wales.
