Any suggestions other than Field farm? I’ve got a date in mind for April but ideally I want somebody to ride with and they have said there will nobody to ride out with. I trust my spotty boy completely but he’s never seen the sea and I thought it might be nice for him to have a bit of company. Preferably a yard that is close to the area of field farm though. Thanks 😊

Which date in April? PM me if you’d prefer.

You can’t hack from mine but I could box up to field farm if you want a friend.

Alternatively can park at Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary, but I think in April you can only ride before 9am or after 6pm.

If you want a companion a bit later than April, I could do further up the coast as a companion to box-and-meet. Mine did Field Farm last year. He is obedient and did have a paddle, but I wouldn't say he loves the waves chasing him yet 🤣

I don’t think I could take any of my share horses but if you want a foot soldier that’s only down the road from me :)

Please don't even think of going on the beach without company until you know how your horse reacts when accompanied.
One of mine thought the beach near us was a giant sand pit, she was walking out quite happily and then just got down and rolled. I was lucky as I could just step off, the saddle was a write off. Imagine if instead she'd rolled whilst I was still on board and her weight had broken my leg Both of us could have ended up drowning had I also been alone.

One of my worries has been not knowing where you can and can’t ride. I offered to pay for an escort from field farm but they said nobody would be going out! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think I’m sorted now and may be meeting iknowmyvalue but chaps89 you’re more than welcome to come on foot. (I was going to hire a photographer unless you
are any good at taking photos?!) it would be in the morning but I’ll let you know nearer the time. Thanks for the offer Red-1, if he likes it I’ll probably plan another beach trip anyway!

Happy to join for a jolly :) I can take reasonable photos on my phone if that counts but definitley not a pro!
