Oh dear, I would definitely have said plain. I think flashy browbands, especially the ones with those bl***y awful rosettes look terrible and should be reserved for kids' ponies . . .. .
I have a part-bred Arab (mother was "proper" AA) - this was her last autumn in a plain in-hand bridle (looks much better than a flashy browband IMHO)
My friend shows PBA at County Level and insists on coloured velvet, usually three colours, with rosettes on the ends. Suppose it's personal choice really though
Flashy is the norm....you could look on Arabian lines website and see some of the pics on there, its my first time showing my 2 year old pure arab this year and i have had lots of advice from there
a coloured velvet browband with massive rosettes on the sides, the bigger the better!!
I have shown my PBA and won at National level and we had a green,gold and burgundy browband.
