As title, i am unsure as this is my first year showing my yearling AA

I used a flashy/complimentary browband when showing my partbred ridden arab. I would think the same??

Oh dear, I would definitely have said plain. I think flashy browbands, especially the ones with those bl***y awful rosettes look terrible and should be reserved for kids' ponies . . .. .

I have a part-bred Arab (mother was "proper" AA) - this was her last autumn in a plain in-hand bridle (looks much better than a flashy browband IMHO)

iv seen arabs in both tbh
some look great in flashy browbands (generally velvet with rosettes on the ends (sorry forester)

however I have seen some in plain show bridles (obv thinnner nose bands than those on hunters etc)

both look smart, depends on what makes the horse look its best I think

My friend shows PBA at County Level and insists on coloured velvet, usually three colours, with rosettes on the ends. Suppose it's personal choice really though

Oh dear! I will wait for more replies and go with the majority i think and email the stud and ask them what they do.

Flashy is the norm....you could look on Arabian lines website and see some of the pics on there, its my first time showing my 2 year old pure arab this year and i have had lots of advice from there
