Hi

I'm after a new bridle and could do with some recommendations please!

I want good quality leather with raised cavesson nose band in Havana

I really like the look of the Mark Todd one but not sure I want to spend the best part of £90. (they have the bridle on offer but only in Australian Nut and looks like an odd colour?)

Got a good price for the Heritage bridle but a quick serach on here made me question the quality as its the one from snowhill trade saddlery rather than heritage direct?

Any one any experience of caldene?

Or should i just bite the bullet and pay for the likes of sabre/jefferies etc?

Any other nice recommendations that wont break the bank for a small headed TB?

Thanks =)

Edited to ask if anyone else is having problems with 'four hundred/400' error message when accessing the forum from mobile phone??

I was looking at bridles in a saddlery the other day and was surprised that the latest shires ones are really lovely and soft. I am looking for a comfort one and the dressage one is lovely with super soft padding. The non dressage version is called 'chantilly' I think, I'm going to buy one when I have money! It was about 64 pounds and had a detachable flash rather than the annoying nobble!

I think Mark Todd ones are really nice quality too, although the padding was slightly less soft than the shires one, overall nicer quality than a lot of other mid range bridles.

I have a Caldene bridle and it is lovely quality. Mine has a flat cavesson. I also have a Frank Baines bridle with a raised cavesson and a detachable flash. A bit more expensive but a lovely bridle.
