Plaiting with white tape?

Yay or neigh?

Now I have "somehow" managed to pull my horses mane, I can no longer to a running plait and need to think about what to do for next comp.

MUCH prefer plaiting with white tape, purely because I find it easier, but is it out of fashion? Would I be considered "not with it" if I did it?

Failing that, should I hog him???

i like wihte tape when its done nicely and not with bits sticking up everywhere. buster has a black mane and i put white bands round his!!

When i was at Merrist Wood last weekend nearly eveyrone had white tape on!! i felt like the odd one out!!

Maybe its been out of fashion long enough to be back in?

I always think its looks fab on a dark horse. If its 'back in', I might do it with my dark lovely

I think it was deemed out of fashion at one point, but I think this could be a conspiracy making them fashionable again at this time of year as most horses having the lower half of their manes rubbed down to nothing from wearing xxheavyweight rugs (lol).

I agree totally and also love white bands on a dark or chesnut mane.

Badly done tape looks awful and generally it has gone out of fashion due to the big Dutch plaits now being the 'in' thing. I don't like them either, they look like golf balls!!

Personally I really do not like plaiting with tape
