My 2 year old chestnut filly had her mane plaited last night, spotted it this morning, we live in Abergavenny. She was out in the field and a red van is visible on the CCTV at approx 6am this morning.

Could be marked for a steal, had this done to my boy when we were up in surrey.

Is there a locked yard with cctv that he can go to at night?

Oh dear, I hope nothing happens because I'm in that area too. Can your horse possibly move to somewhere with more security?

take the plait out straight away, unfortunatly it looks like a mark for stealing, bring her in if you can and contact your local horse watch. check all your fencing and see if there is anywhere they can get in.

Don't bring her inside to a stable on the same yard since she will be easier to catch!

take the plait out straight away and call your local horse watch, or the police on a non emergency number.

Any possibility of a guard dog to stay cover for this evening?
