So....
Bath and West, Moreton, maybe Belmont, Larkhill, Ebbesbourne Wake, maybe Bovington all at PN then break for finals

Moreton (2), Longleat (both at PN) then Salperton eventers sj and 1st novice at Stonar.

Then re-assess!!!

well, i have for rupert.

28th april = brechin only if ground is very good! intro
5-6th may = scone only if dont run at brechin intro
30th june = hoeptoun intro/pn
4-5th aug = hendersyde only if we qualify
2nd september - gleneagles intro/pn

good luck with moon!

I am Jealous, I don't even event and I want to go. From what I heard Belmont was very uninspiring and you hope they have changed the course for this year.

We do live in a good area for BEing.

Yes, I like to tempt fate and have my season planned

14th April - Kirriemuir PN and Intro
28th April - Brechin PN and Intro
May 19th - Floors Castle PN
June 30th - Hopetoun PN and Intro
July 21st - Auchinleck Novice and Intro
July 29th - Strathallan Novice and Intro
August 5th - Hendersyde - Intro
August 18th - Thirlestane - Novice
Sep 2nd - Gleneagles - Novice and Intro
Sep 16th - Culzean - PN and Intro

That's the plan anyway, but all subject to finances, weather and horses' health.

Belmont was unispiring - the potential their is stupendous but for a course built from scratch in torrential weather they did it. It was a typical PN shared with a Novice course so the PN was big and Novice small. They have an intro this year so expect to see some improvements in the balance.
My plans are:
March - B&W, Aldon, Belmont (All PN)
April - Larkhill & Pontispool (All PN)
May - Broadway (N) SLM (PN) Pontispool (N)
June - Longleat (N) Stonar (N) Nutwell (N)
July - Barbury (N) Then a holiday for me and horse till ground comes soft again.

Planned up to the summer!!

March
Isleham - Lexi
Oasby - Lexi and Molly

April
Goring - Lexi and Molly
Hambledon - Lexi and Molly
Milton Keynes - perhaps Merry's 1st intro

May
Keysoe
Aston Le Walls
Prestwold

June
Gt Tew
Catton

I did Oasby a couple of years ago - it was a really nice inviting course.

My two will be in the PN - it will be Molly's 1st event (starting her off at Oasby rather than Isleham because I think it is more straightforward).

Havent really planned anything and tbh Winston will probably only do spring season. However
wink.gif
......

March
Stilemans
or
Tweseldown or both on Winston
but Oasby sounds a possible and if young snoop has seen a xc fence by then he may go to that.

April
Goring
Hambledon
MK possible

May
Aston

June
GTew - snoopy PAVO 5 year old PN

But who knows, we may go SJing yet and depends on money too.....

well sort of have a plan but as others crossing fingers not tempting fate as only got out 3 times beginning last season then broke poor Budsie.....
hopefully PN at Oasby, Stafford and Eland Lodge
then N maybe at Bradwall or Moreton Morrel, then see how it goes pick and choose from .....Rodbaston, Aston, Chatsworth, Somerford, cleobury, Sansaw, Catton, Bucminster, Malpas etc
would love to aim for the 1* at Weston Park in October but just see what happens!!!!!

Sounds like could be on mass at Oasby - hope we can all catch up!!!

Not quite sure yet. I wouldn't go back to Belmont again thought was a very poor twisty uninspiring course.

Rags will start at Bath and West, Aldon, Larkhill PN then maybe if all ok upgrade to Novice at Pontispool with the aim of being competetive for the PAVO. Then again may consider selling him as really a bit big for nme so see how things go.

Sarnita plans are a bit up in the air but presuming we don't get in the CIC** European Team then we will start at Gatcombe, Pontispool and Withington Intermediates. Then hopefully CCI** at Punchestown or more probably Ede (Holland). Then give her some of the summer off when the ground is hard and aim to do an Advanced in the Autumn.

I have to say the plans I have made at the beginning of the season have never remained unchanged so it will be interesting to see what happens!

Urghh I forgot to factor balloting into the equation. Luckily my fab mother is very involved in scoring at most of the South Western events so get into most places
smile.gif

I do not think balloting is too big an issue in SW unlike the overpopulated SE!
blush.gif

In fact only times me and friends have ever missed out is with late entries which is fair enough. I had some ballot stickers left over last year.

Isleham and Poplar Park, PN
Gt Witchingham, Belton,Hambleden, South of England, Little Downham, Nurstead, all JRN's or drop back to PN if problems.

Start the season with JAS at Arena UK and Towerlands in Feb and 2 day EHOA clinic at Ely.

All this is daughter riding and me grooming and driving.

Got to get as much as poss in early season as Bee has GCSE's this year.

I have to say the plans I have made at the beginning of the season have never remained unchanged so it will be interesting to see what happens!
............................................
my thoughts on subject, would love to be able to plan but my horses NEVER give me the pleasure of being able to plan any more than about a month a ahead!!!!
so i'll be happy whenever i get out and about and if i not competeting i'll be judging!!! So i get my fix

tongue.gif
Oh yeah, and obviously both horses will cope fantasticly with new training and challenges and win every time out

! Especially as William refuses to acknowledge that his body can move sideways, and Liberty is scared of ditches, water and dock leaves......

Disclaimer - in case you've failed to notice the irony in this post I fully do not expect the above to happen, however I don't think there's anything wrong with a bit of dreaming!

I have suggestion....
Take L to the seaside! that sure cure his phobio of water!
Dock leaves are scary, bertie still swears theyre scary even at 26 years old.
The mood winston is in at the moment, if you bring W over and we go for a hack W will learn to move sideways quickly that or he gets SQUASHED by BIG WINST!!!

Obviously im coming to groom at Le Lion!
