This was just 10 houses away from my house!!!

Saw the black smoke and was prevented from returning to my house by the police - had to park else where and walk back to my house....

Turns out this plane with its 5 occupants had crash landed - just a stones throw away!!!

Totally unbelieveable! still in shock..

i see that on the news it crashed into some houses didnt it
i guess there was no one in the houses at the time .

Hiya

yep it crashed into one house and the garage - destroyed the house as the plane was full of fuel!! hit some trees also.... luckily the occupants were on holiday! not very nice to come back to though!!!....

Police are currently working to retrieve the bodies - not allowing any one living very close to the crash to return to their homes....

So sad for the occupants of the plane....

The dead have not been officially identified but are believed to include ex-touring car champion David Leslie and racing team owner Richard Lloyd.

The plane had been en route from nearby Biggin Hill airfield to France.

It is also understood that Mike Roberts, believed to be one of the pilots on board, was among the dead.

No-one on the ground was badly injured, but two people were treated for shock.

The people who live in the damaged house - which was empty at the time of the crash - were away on holiday.

They have returned since the crash and are being comforted by friends.

sounds horrific- they interviewed one of the neighbours and he said the plane was so close to his window that he could see their terrified faces just before it crashed- now there's an image that'll haunt you until you die.
