I can honestly say i breathed a huge sigh of relief as this could of turned out so very very bad.

I know! Thank god their pilot handled it so well.
On msn news videos, passengers are praising him, saying how they felt he was in control, right up until they hit the water.
Some of them got undressed incase they had to swim

One news report said A bird had hit both engines. Presumably it went through 1, climbed over the wings, then went through the other engine. Don't you just love pig ignorant journalists!

yes credit should go to them 2, but they wouldn't have been doing it if the pilot hadn't managed to get it down safely.

On an airbus A320 (which is what it was) there wont have been pets in the hold.
