Planning permission for school in curtilage of garden

Do you need it if a school is built within the curtilage of a garden? Anyone done it without pp?

Friend did it and also talked to planners, you don't need it, but worth checking

No planning needed, I had a friend who did it and there is a second one locally (and that's inside the Peak Park where planning is very strict). You need to be absolutely sure that there is consent for the garden to be a garden and it hasn't just been sneaked in by taking part of a field and hoping no one would notice.
