Planning permission - newly discovered hard standing

Does anyone know the situation with the planners if you have existing hard standing ?

I had a yard build on one side of my land and there was some land at the other side ( road frontage ) of the property which was uncleared ( full of brambles, builders debris, rubbish etc )

We've cleared some of the debris away to reveal hardstanding and wondered what if anything could we do with it.

It lends itself nicely to me putting up a small yard I could rent out.

Any thoughts.

Your best bet would be to speak to your planners. Different areas seem to interpret the rules differently.

Just because there is a hard standing doesn't mean there was a building there (unless it can be proved otherwise) Speak to your local planners,
