Lawks don’t say that! I’ve barely got my routine back on track yet and want to enjoy lighter evenings for a while longer please. I’m doing some fittening work with them both and tentatively hoping Finn will be fit and happy to do a teensy bit of hunting come the autumn so that’s something to look forward to. Might dip my toe back into competing dressage with Bertie too so maybe it’s not all bad when the darker nights come in 😃

I've got a lesson this evening; I'm going to see if the instructor is willing to go rogue and help me with my Western patterns for a show later this month. They teach English, so it's a bit of a stretch. Tomorrow, Amber has physio, and then later in the week, we'll make the most of the lighter nights and go hacking after work.

My mare had a fall on the road about 2 weeks ago and spent last week being lame. Today she is looking fit and fresh so looking forward to bouncing around the school with her tomorrow! :D (although I will try to persuade her she doesn't HAVE to bounce...she isn't that fit haha!)

I wasn't mentally prepared to see the word Autumn so soon 🤣

We did a nice 2 hour hack before work yesterday, pony has dentist today so will lunge tomorrow so he has 48+ hours without a bit. Hoping to hack again Thursday & have a lesson Friday.

Not sure on plans at the weekend yet - I'm supposed to be at a music festival but it's looking unlikely :(
