After a 'helpful' person telling me that I have ragwort in my fields which is bad for horses I had to explain that it isn't ragwort. Shamefully I don't know what it is but I know it isn't ragwort.

So what is it...

Its meadow fleabane, or Inula Britannica. Likes wet ground and can be invasive.:) Coltsfoot is much smaller and has a different leaf much like a horses foot shape, hence the name.

Looks like some sort of daisy - probably wrong, I'm not good with plants! I used to get alot of it growing in a field that bordered a river. I do know it is NOT ragwort though!

I have an identical bunch of this in my field and thought it was some new species of ragwort(its not by the way) I think it looks like a cultivated daisy. It hasnt spread but has big daisy heads ie size of 50p

I have no idea but it looks like it came from someones flowery garden. I have never seen it before until this year. Its by the gate and I run it over a lot. Quite a nice flower.

Thanks for asking that, i have it in my field too and the amount of times i have traipsed over to it thinking it was ragwort is ridiculous. Can i juts check it is safe to have in field isn't it.
