I give my dog seaweed and parsley from CSJ. It's cheaper than Plaque Away. Although it's not a huge pouch, I only need to give my dog two tiny scoops, so it will last for months. I've only recently started giving it to him, and antler pieces have chipped his plaque off, fortunately, so I can't say how well it works yet.

I like Plaque Off, but with 3 medium dog + 1 or more cats which I give it to, I don't bother buying any of their cans below 180 grams.
Note if you give Plaque Off or any other similar seaweed product, and they're also receiving treatment for Hypothyroidism, you might after awhile need to check so that their medicine dose doesn't need to be lowered.

Does it just stop it forming though or soften stuff thats there already? Mrs Spaniel had most of her teeth out because plaque had caused gum disease and loosened them, she still produces a lot , Ive been giving her Plaque Off and cant see much difference.
Also, why is there not a human seaweed toothpaste if it works :D

I use the emmipet toothbrush. It is working but you have to persevere with it and would be much easier tostart using when a dog is younger

It will soften some if it but you have to then brush it off.
