Platelet therapy - thoughts, experiences, and costs.

Can anyone tell me how much per stifle this would be? Does it tend to be a one off injection?

It will be the next stage for my horse, and I know that we are nearing the insurance limit. I will continue to have the therapy done on him, but just want to be mentally prepared for what it costs and at what stage we've spent the insurance.

Any thoughts on the therapy would be really useful. Thanks.

Best answer is ask your vet! All costs vary slightly and as they will be doing the procedure they are the best placed to give you the most information.
Prognosis depends on why you are considering the option? Ie what is the underlying problem being treated and what has been done so far?

My horse had prp in nov his ligament has made impressive recovery. I don't have individual cost of prp as he had op at same time.Its been found to be very effective google prp stifles im sure something will come up.

Had PRP into a check ligament, horse scanned very well after and no issues now.
