Hehehe i could amuse myself for hours on the national equine database! Its free to sign up and you can search anything! I've found Jacob and scrooge but under thier show names! Hasholme Q'appelle and Herme's Van't Kaliahoff! lol Can people find their neds on the NED!? lol

Yes found that the PIO haven't put me on as owner - presumably not updated it from original owner even though sent passport back and paid them lots of money for the prviledge. Me thinks I'll be on the phone to them on Monday....
 
yeah, i paid £1 to find that neither have their pedigree details on. one not at all and the other's is wrong despite his sire and dam being correct on his record on there - when you click on pedigree it's all wrong! have e-mailed them. it wont let me own my old horse because i haven't changed my address with the WPCS - sod them if they think i'm paying a tenner to change my address on my 22yr old horse who goes nowhere. Will just have to only own the youngster!

Magnus and Tiny tim are imaginary too! Although it seems anything bred at the hasholme stud after 2004 (jakey's year) isn't there.....

Found my three using just their names or parts thereof. They referred to Tiggy as a bay, then had blanket spot in brackets - she was spotty all over (had spotty bits!). Ah well, don't suppose she would have minded, she was a pretty chilled out mare

i cant find my pony

but there are loads of horses with the same prefix... many with performance records; or the same dad/mum as mine :P what happened to mine, i think she is a duffer of the bunch :0

none of mine are correct

I am the reigistered owner of nothing according to ned!

Also those I know that are out of the same dam as my young chap are not listed as so, their mother is named as java not louella java as on her passport, and so does not lin her as the same, and there must be more I do not know about.

my friends horses show no breeding at all, although parentage is certainly known.

imo the website still has a long way to go
 
same here! I forgot I had not changed my address on her passport and now it won't let me link to her - I guess that is fair. I will send it off and get it changed though as I need to link her foal etc next year..grumble grumble, more money I suppose
