Please be aware that there is a spate of thefts of cocker spaniels in the South at the moment.
All the details are on Facebook, Dog Lost etc. If these details come through to you, please could you spread the word? It is getting out of control.
The common factor appears to be a green Subaru estate and a man well known to the police, who lives in the Hampshire area. This man has been known to be involved in this sort of thing a lot and needs to be stopped. He uses 2 number plates on this vehicle.
Keep your precious companions safe.
 
NSC we believe they are S391 STL and X478 BUJ and we believe they appear on the same green Suburu. The 1st one is a false number plate and the 2nd one is showing as for a Subaru Legacy, 5 door estate.
 
Is it just me or is it strange that there are prices put on the dogs ie,'the dog is worth £..' in the news article, presumably supplied by the owners?
 
OB27 I will do as soon as I get home, as I will need to have a look.
I didn't realise but there has been an article in the Daily Mail about them.
All the information I have had has come from friends and there is a lot going on in the background to try and get all these dogs home safely.
I know that forum members are always good at spreading the word so thought I would put it on here too.
 
Heard about this, one dog was taken from his kennell. Dreadful . Lucky for me mine is fast asleep on my bed... He hates strangers and growls at anyone he don't know.. I feel for these poor stolen dogs and distraught owners..
