Islay has been getting me up every 2 hours all night with an upset stomach
crazy.gif
It is really nothing to worry about, I will starve her for 24 hours and have given her some pro-kolin paste this morning. She went for her morning walk and was bouncing and racing around the fields as usual, and was livid when she didnt have breakfast.

BUT I have had her since May 2008 and she has never had an upset stomach before. And she hasnt eaten anything different or unusual as far as I am aware. And this is just how Talisker's illness started

Loads of vibes for Islay!!

Don't worry, the vast majority of dogs get over their upset stomachs with no problems just like people! Chances are something she ate put her off a bit and she'll be fine by tomorrow.

Thank you both

She is currently asleep on MY bed looking rather smug and happy
tongue.gif
- I think she has realised that although she isnt being fed she has the chance to really be spoiled in every other way today

I know really that she will be fine by tomorrow too, I am just being silly and worrying - dogs, who would have them

Isn't it typical, you're not exactly filled with 100% merry joy and then your dog gives you extra worry. We all know that it most likely isn't anything but then there is those few times when it is and which are the times we remember? The bad ones, you know I would be very rich if I had gotten money for every time I have worried about one of my pets, where in the end it has turned out to be nothing, so I am no good example to follow.

At least you know that you should let her stomach rest, some continues to feed because their dog says they are hungry.

Get well {{{{{{Vibes}}}}}} to Islay and {{{{{{Vibes}}}}}} to Splotchys nerves. One always feel so well by being sleep deprived, don't we...

Bad Islay keeping mummy up all night and then sleeping on her bed all day!!
Fingers, paws and hooves crossed she will be fine by tomorrow.

<<<<<Vibes>>>>> for Islay and (((Hugs))) for Splotchy - hope she's back to her undignified "legs-in-the-air-sofa-lounging" antics soon

BTW - I didn't mean that to sound like Splotchy was the one who was prone to waving her legs in the air (though what she does in her own home is her business

- she was absolutely livid

She NEVER goes in the crate dont you know...

But she seems to have..ahem...got rid of whatever was bothering her (not in the crate luckily) so fingers crossed she will be fine in the morning
