Long story short, last monday I did a good deed and during this all I get is tripped up and a branch of a tree in my leg, 3 hours in a and e and several stiches later all sorted out. Sunday was taking my grandparents some cakes and day is cut short by my father crashing his superbike on a track event, concussed and battered, I spend another 3 hours in a and e. Now this morning, took boys their breakfast and about 20 feet of fence has been smashed down and taken out, looks like they tried to get a vehicle in and the only thing of any value there is my poor ponies who luckily don't like strangers. They also went in our neighbours for a good nosey around. So now I'm hoping that these are my 3 bad lucks and good luck starts coming. Sorry for the ramble and if it was hard to read. Will hand out homemade bakewell tarts to any readers :-)

I hope that your luck improves soon, as you're doing good deeds, I've no doubt it will!

It IS bad luck - however, there's a bit of good luck in there too. Your leg is sorted - great stuff, no infections, all working fine. Your dad's recovering (as a biker, I know if you can walk away from a crash, it's a good 'un) and you still have your precious ponies.

Not meaning to marginalise your last few days - sounds horrible. I guess this is me trying to put a positive slant on it. I bet I sound like the sort of person who gives children school uniform for Christmas. I don't deserve a Bakewell Tart!

Thanks guys, not really looking for sympathy or anything just felt the need to share. Security wise the field is just over a lane from our drive way, gates are locked and shut so I guess that's why they went for the post and rail, just can't belive we didn't hear anything atall nor did our neighbours. OH has laser alarms on order and a cctv thing that if the laser is broken it turns on the light in our bedroom and the cctv shows on a monitor.
