A nice new leather girth. Brown/havana etc. Medium range, not so cheap the leather is going to crack and look horrible, but equally not too expensive either.
Would ideally like it to be non-elasticated both sides, in which case he would need a 60".
If it is elasticated one side, he could go down to a 58".
