Is it Belgian Warmblood or Belgium Warmblood? I've googled and it seems to be the first (and my logic suggests this too) however everyone on here seems to refer to them as Belgium Warmbloods...

So which is correct?!

My horse is a Belgian Draught x, she came from Belgium.
Her passport says 'koninklijke maatschappij het belgisch trekpaard and
vlaamse fokkers van het belgisch trekpaard' which google translator says 'royal society, the Belgian draft horse and Flemish Breeders of the Belgian draft horse'.

So I would guess its Belgian like the people and Belgium is the country. Like Irish Draught and Ireland.

I suppose it would depend where your horse was passported and in what language. My girl was born and bred in Belgium and came to Britain 3 years ago already passported. Her passport is all in Flemish/Dutch (got to love google translator) but if your horse was passported in this country maybe they didn't know which Belgium/Belgian to use.

He was imported at Easter. He has a Flemish passport (with English underneath the Flemish) in places.

I think its the Belgium Warmblood society or something (from what I can tell)

Its a grey and red passport if that helps ;)

Oh how interesting.
My horse's is green but that's the Belgian Draught Society.
Maybe the Warmbloods wanted to be different. :p
Wish mine would have English as well.

Hmm, interesting one, and one I want to know the answer too as my Belgian/Belgium Warmblood new lad is arriving Saturday??? Don't want to look like a twit if I get it wrong. Though as you suggest it is Belgian all over Google. His passport is Red too, maybe it will tell me when I get it :D

I want to know the correct too.

My passport is grey, with a red stripe down the left hand side and a german looking flag? Guessing its the Belgium one. It also has a cut out bit so you can see his registered name on the cover. :)

I'd go with Belgian Warmblood.

Belgium Warmblood is syntactically equivalent to Germany Warmblood or England Warmblood.

Edit: I did not see Rhino's answer before posting. Apologies for the repetition.

Well even judging by other warmblood ls - it's not 'Poland', 'Hanover' or 'Westphalia' (which I would say are actually the best breed Rhino ;) )

I'm glad it's not just me that gets wound up by it, but being a name, I couldn't just get up on my spelling and grammar high horse just in case. My, would the egg be on my face if I were wrong!!
