I have spent a couple of weekends cleaning the lorry up and painting it, put it up for sale on a couple of sites last night and felt really cheerful as it looks great and I was pleased to have finished it. Had the first call this morning and its just reminded me that I face the delight of calls from suspicious people who think I am trying to offload a nightmare - hence lots of quizzing with "tricky" questions, wasted time and general interuption - and thats before anyone has come to see it!!!!

I am grateful that there is some interest but can't be a***d with all the work that goes with it.

Someone please say something cheery or uplifting?

Hope you had more luck than me - one phone call to see what my bottom line was

As it is a genuine lorry, you'll have no trouble selling it. We sold one last November - had lots of enquiries and the first people who came brought the cash with them and drove it away. We then bought another one that wasn't quite big enough for our big mare (how stupid is that

) and sold it 4 days later again to the first people that came along. Good lorries get snapped up and you'll have genuine buyers coming along!

Agree with jayceelen l recently sold my lorry which was a genuine sale put it up for a price which l thought would sell and ended up with about 35 replies selling to the 1st people to see, just let them come and view and unless they need any answers just let them help themselves

Damm - I was starting to feel cheerier but now someone wants photos of the interior, cab floor, wheel arches, mud flaps, chasis etc etc to save them having to drive to look!!!!
