1) Do you know how much your horse weighs?
roughly, weight taped him and we had a big guess his weght type thing for wormers
2) Do you feed per scoop or by weight?
by handful but I now have a handful sized mini scoop
3) Do you feed the amount that it recommends on the bag?
no he would be the size of a house!!
4) Do you weigh your hay / haylage?
no go by sections and how much it feels and looks like

hope that helps :)

1) Do you know how much your horse weighs?
Yes, periodically use a weight tape on them all.

2) Do you feed per scoop or by weight?
By the scoop ONLY after i have weighted each feed out and figured out what weight each scoop takes of the different feeds. I have different sized scoops for the different feeds/ponies/horses.

3) Do you feed the amount that it recommends on the bag?
No, amend it to what i feel they need - by judging their condition and how they are in themselves... Normally i end up feeding less than the bag advises, but the bag doesnt know what other chaffs etc you may also be using.

4) Do you weigh your hay / haylage?
Not that often, i am pretty good at judging them as have mutiple horses and have been doing them for far too many years!

1) Yes, if you count a weight tape as accurate!

2) Balancer per scoop, chaff by handfuls depending on condition, time of year, grass etc

3) Balancer yes, chaff no - he'd be eating 4 giant scoops of hi-fi a day if I did, and currently only has a double handful twice a day

4) No, basically ad lib all winter down to zero in summer when out at good grass.

1) Do you know how much your horse weighs?
I use a weight tape

2) Do you feed per scoop or by weight?
Scoop

3) Do you feed the amount that it recommends on the bag?
Depends on feed/What I think etc.

4) Do you weigh your hay / haylage?
Nope, I generally give ad-lib but change depending on their condition
