Many of yous will know that i must be in the worlds worst yard, YO recently screwed me over AGAIN and i am due to have a baby in a few weeks. I cant take the yard anymore, ive been really searching for a field or new yard.

Tonight my friend tells me of a yard that, its closer to home, has an arena, all year round turnout, quiet road for hacking, and the man owns a few lanes that are used for hacking. I feel silly as i used to live near it and know the man. Hes an elderly farmer and offers hay at low prices to his liveries. The stables are large and have anti weaving bars. I know he doesnt like taking in ones that have highly strung horses, but mine are all plods.

Im phoning in the morning and hopefully will get them moved asap. Ive had enough, YOs daughter and gf put their horses in the arena in the morning, chuck in haylage and leave them there all day. If i bring them in to exercise mine then i get it in the neck. However if i have mine running in the arena to clean them out, im asked to bring them in as horses getting exercised have more priority to the arena.

Also YO himself has done something to me that im currently in talks with my solictor about. My horses are constantly talked down, I brought Mo's bridle home to stop them from riding him but they tried to squeeze him into Mae's cob comfort bridle, they are always telling me what i should be doing with my horses, that im underfeeding Mo hay (hes eating over a bale a day!!!). Im 38 weeks pregnant and im still lunging my lot or hubby rides them, he cleans them out for me. I was going to sell them all as i was losing heart but yous all made me see sense.

Hopefully this will be my break, i know the man who has the other livery, as does my dad. Hes a very nice man and im hoping and praying hes got room (12 stables, wont take more than 12 horses on). My friend said that her mate was there for a while, until her own stables were ready and the man would check on the horses in the morning and again at night, bitchiness wasnt allowed and those causing trouble were asked to leave.

Sorry about the long post

Sounds lovely, I really hope he has space.

So do I, i cant sleep at all, im getting nervous and excited. I used to hack out on the roads when younger so i know the area well. Also its a 5 minute walk from my parents house, they said they would check on the horses when im in hospital.

Current YO is a p***k, he said to Hubby that if he wanted to pay for full livery at £55 a week per horse, that he will do our horses, but still wanted us to supply feed, shavings and hay. He said that he would get his gf to ride our lot, but i dont want her to. I know that sounds selfish but she seems to cut the mouth on every horse she rides.

Really hope the new place has room for you. You really don't need the hassle with a couple of weeks to go till the baby is due, and you certainly will need it even less when you have a new baby to cope with! Fingers crossed it works out.

Ive been advertising everywhere, asking and begging people, but ive not been able to find anywhere new. Its been getting to me for a long time, thats why i havent been on in ages. Ive gone to farmers, even estate agents, advertised in papers and tack shops etc. I tried to get into a riding stables that offer livery, but they ended up refusing us because we have a tb.

I was selling Romi my wee foal, the person was YOs mate that bought her for £800. YO called me up last thursday night and said the offer and that he owed his mate £900 for a van that he bought off him. And that instead of giving him the money he would give me the money himself, and i would get it that weekend. Stupid me says thats fine and Romi goes that night. That weekend hubby was at the yard and asked for the money, YO said that we owe him that money and we arent getting it. Before all this crap he did our back garden for us the orginal quote was £2300, when it was finished it went to £3000 (admittedly he did extra things). I paid the £3000 (was last summer), hes now saying that i owe him an extra £1000 and was holding that money as we owed him it and wanted his other £200!!

So i havent paid the livery, maybe that was stupid of me, but i paid that garden bill in full, i always pay my bills. Now hes demanding his livery money and the £200, his constant demand for money has me near the red and its getting to the stage i cant afford to keep the horses. Hubby is working full time, im on maternity leave and im doing ebay to help bring more in.

I cant take anymore, at my last midwife appointment my blood pressure was high and the babys hb was very quick, they were going to admit me. He knows we have a baby coming and he doesnt care. Not surprised coming from a guy who abandoned his wife when she was 8 months pregnant.

Sorry guys, i hate being so negative

Fingers crossed for you - sounds like you are certainly due a bit off good luck so I hope the new yard comes through!

Fingers crossed and I hope you get the situation sorted RE the money (I'm guessing that is what solicitor is sorting). I cant see him wining anything as if he gave final invoice and u paid he has no right to ask for any more ££, and as for the issue with the pony - I would find it and take it back (once you have moved) as if no money has changed hands then its still technically yours!

Start taking as much home as you can so that you only have the horses to move, and when you do move them, make sure you take a LARGE group of friends with you.

Hope the new yard has space and you can get your horses moved quickly. Your present yard sounds a load of aggro that you could do without being heavily pregnant. Try not to lift anything heavy when you move!
