Year after year this goes around, and it appears to have started again in the past few days. If you have posted about it either here or on any other social media, please either delete it or make it clear that it is a hoax, so that it doesnt keep going around and around.

Why do people do this? Seems such an odd thing to hoax about but then I don't get what anyone would waste time putting up hoaxes and spam anyway.

The one I saw on Facebook today had a premium mobile number on it so I'm guessing every time someone rings it someone will make money.

Ah well that would explain things, not justify them ofc but at least explains why someone would scam. Anything for a quick buck eh
