The class is described as:

Class 6 HENLEY & BARR AMATEUR TOUR OPEN WARM UP
HANDICAP
Two Phase Speed 325mpm Amateur ‘A’ Maximum height 1.10m / Amateur ‘B’ Maximum height 1.15m Rule 286A/284 For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Pony Associate members

I want to do the maximum height of 1.10m, so will the class be divided into two? Amateur A and Amateur B?

Who is classed a an A or a B? x

Confused!! x

Ginger biscuits and builders tea for replies!! x

It is followed by:

Class 7 CUSHIONBED AMATEUR ‘A’ TOUR 1st LEG
Two Phase Speed 325mpm Height 1.10m/1.15m Rule 286A For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Pony Associate members

and then:

Class 8 SHEARWATER INSURANCE SERVICES LTD AMATEUR
‘B’ TOUR 1st LEG
Two Phase Speed 325 mpm Height 1.15m/1.20m Rule 286A For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Pony Associate members Class 8 is not open to riders from the Big Tour

Does that help??

Sounds to me like it will be run as one class but the Amateur A jump first around the 1.10m then they put it up for the Amateur B, yet there is one result for both. And here are the rules as to what defines an Amateur A or B :)

AMATEUR ‘A’ TOUR
For Registered Horses to be ridden by members excluding the top 200 Riders on British Showjumping Riders Ranking List 363 Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team, (Nations Cup, World, European Championships and Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible. (Excluding Veteran Teams)

AMATEUR ‘B’ TOUR
For Registered Horses to be ridden by members excluding the top 100 Riders on British Showjumping Riders Ranking List 363 Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team, (Nations Cup, World, European Championships and Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible.
