In what world is ALL of this kit needed in one go?

A bridle that sits right behind the eyes.
A throat lash done up incredibly tightly.
A hacakmore with a massive shank and a chain across the back, again incredibly tightly.
A snaffle with mouthpiece that just looks evil.
A drop noseband done up tightly that has a chain across the back of the chin not leather.
Draw reins.

Perhaps not the best choice for a 62 year old with a dodgy orthopaedic history .
if I was one of the super rich I would have a great big estate with masses of horses having happy time doing not a lot expect hacking about the extensive woods this magic estate would of course have , it would also have a river for splash about .
In my dreams .

Id come and ride it for you 😊

I think it's endurance, could be polo. Should be illegal in all disaplines.

very unlikely - you generally see endurance horses in less tack, not more and few endurance horses are ridden in leather tack, it’s usually beta biothane that can be sloshed easily. That set up would be a minefield of rubs and sore spots. Mind you in all areas of equine sports, there are those who would sacrifice their horses comfort for winning….. I can’t believe they have actually attached the bit to the shank of the bitless bridle. Absolutely horrific. @Elf On A Shelf where does the photo originate from?
