12hh black pony
Hates children would eat one if he could
Is aggressive when food around
Bucks like stink when ridden
is very lazy if you stay on the rodeo and get him to give in
suffers from little man syndrome and occasionally lamintis
fully vaccinated but he breaks your nose if your vet is not very quick
kicks the farrier but has his feet trimmed never been shod
Will barge through you for a blade of grass or in the instance of breaking my leg into a starvation paddock
bites and boxes at you with his front feet
kicks rarely but will if he is on one
full scale jumper of electric fences a small loop in it means he will clear well over 5ft over your head rather than the tape
dont even think about clipping him
tries to kill the dentist should he dare to look at his teeth

Less redeeming qualities he is a fun driving pony and is loved by all the humans in his family
He an adored pony who has been brought up firmly but fairly oh and he thinks I am his mum and has huge respect for that

I am sure I cant be the only one who wants to keep him

Well lets put it this way he is 9 now he may not make 10 after today It was tongue in cheek he will never leave here he is a prime candidate for abuse in my view

He sounds like a right character! Well done for persevering with him, and for being adamant that you will never pass him on.

There is something irresistible about theses loveable rogues. The late chesnut git was the same, he could be a total pillock a lot of the time but he always made me smile (maybe it was just the effects of my various concussions).

My comment was also very much tongue in cheek given the current threads that are running !

We bought in an elderly section A for the children years ago, he had been through countless pony club homes and must have been 25 when he came to us. The children could do anything with him, bounce off his backside, picnic underneath him. One winter they tied him to a plastic roofing sheet and went sledging with him. Needless to say everything broke but the pony just stood and waited to be reattached and the kids to sit on the sheet again.

However, he hated me with a passion even though it was me that fed him and looked after him Monday to Friday. He would bite my backside given the first chance, turning him out I had to turn his head to me or he would trot past and kick me on the knee. Bless the little B, he lived into his 30's and I shed a tear when the day came. The children are doctors and high flyers in London now but they still talk about him and still think he is buried in the garden.

These little gems are the salt of the earth if it was me he hated he may well have not met his end here but he hates everybody except me which makes it a bit more difficult Still while we can afford him and he doesnt kill any passers by he will live his life out being a pony a Horrid pony admittedly but he can be a pony What I wont do now is protect him by making him miserable if he gets lami again I will PTS he will remain on reduced grazing but it it means muzzles and starving him I will let him go its no life for him or in my mind any horse or pony but that is just my opinion
