There is less than 24hrs left til this photo comp I entered finishes and I still need more votes to be in the running. My pic is currently in 2nd place and my horse really does deserve the title of naughtiest horse or pony. When I got him he was scared of everything and for good reason. You see he had been abused by people. He would bite and kick, threaten anyone who came near to him. Pretty naughty you might think, but this is not the reason I want you to vote for him. He has scars mentally and physically from this abuse. He had his tongue almost completely severed by a wire twitch put into his mouth in an effort to control him and was terrified of wheelbarrows coming anywhere near to him. We do think he probably had them ran into him when he warned people to keep their distance. On top of this he has a deep scar running through his quarters which was either deliberately inflicted or else the result of someone trying to drive him and a carting accident. The photo in this link was taken 2years after I got him and hopefully will show how far he has come on his journey of regaining trust in people. I have had him nearly 4 years now and he has a home for life with me. He is still mistrustful of strangers but as you will see in his photo he now has a big personality and a very cheeky outlook on life. I will post some pics of when I first got him so you can see how worried and fearful he was and a recent one taken last summer of us in the field(excuse the bad hair..I'd just finished riding him and only just put him out)and if you feel he deserves to win and haven't already voted please vote on the link at the bottom of this thread. Thankyou.
This is about a month after I got him. Notice the worried look on his face.
