hi there, i was wondering if anyone can help me... My horse loves leaning and taking hold of the bit. Ive heard that the cherry roller snaffle can be used to help sort the problem, but is this a strong and severe bit? I don't want anything too strong, as my horse isn't, but just want something 2 help me out. Shes currently ridden in a a low ported myler snaffle. She has a very fleshy mouth - don't know if this makes a difference. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I think that sounds like a good idea, it is not harsh but stops the dull, leaning because it is too mobile for them to take a good lean/hold.

Maybe you can try/hire one.

In a fleshy mouth it is not an overthick bit.

Armhole I would disagree a proper Cherry roller snaffle is very thick in the mouth and not sure a horse with fleshy mouth would have room for one.

Not the best picture but does show how thick the mouth piece is. Perhaps look at a waterford snaffle instead. This will have a thinner mouthpiece and because it is totally flexible the horse has nothing to lean against. Hope you find a solution, nothing worse than a horse leaning on you
