Please help! fancy dress and no ideas :(

We're having a yard show at the beginning of September and the final class is fancy dress.
My daughter who is 11 really wants to do this.

I'm really stumped for ideas.

So guys, what could they go as?
Horse is bay if that helps :D

I saw a really good outfit recently, the handler dressed as a pirate and the pony had an outfit to make it a crocodile, with a hood and the ears were crocodiles eyes, teeth drawn down the side of the hood. A green rug and a yellow tummy piece. Can't find the picture but it looked v funny.
 
How about a disc jockey....dress daughter in jockey outfit then depending how good pony is either make pony into a set of decks using cardboard/rug and hand cd's from mane and tail etc
 
The pony at Equifest yesterday that won was a Chinese Dragon - there were loads of kids under the cloth body in a row behind the horse and they were all walking in sync - it was brill!:)
 
My /word/ those are some tolerant equines!

How about you tell daughter you will help but she has to choose what to go as?

I once went as a night mare! (blue cover with stars and moon etc on horse) Can't remember what I wore - some sort of witches outfit I think

Did a pirate ship with a friend two up dressed as pirates and the pony had a ship sort of hung round her we held a mast with sails between the two riders. Pony was bombproof and we won quite a few classes with that.

Went to a fancy dress jumping as cinderella and prince charming - it was at Christmas and we were very panto (and won that too)

How old is your daughter and how big is the pony?
 
Junior and his very patient angel of a pony went as a dragon (pony) and knight (son). He wore a knights outfit he had and carried a sword. Pony had a green rug and a Nessie hat with long tail. Nessie head sat between her ears and long spiky tail went down her neck. One of the little girls had the pony dressed as a cow and she was a milkmaid (very cute)
