Please Help- Mare purchased 4 weeks ago is Pregnant?

How exciting!!!! Wish my horse was in foal. unfortunately he's a 16 yr old gelding, so rather unlikely!

Really hoping the little one comes soon & you show us some pics!!
 
OP - If you get the chance have a look at some YouTube videos of mares giving birth. Then you can see how it all happens and what to expect.

I am a little confused that the Vet couldnt feel it - as the general indication is that its coming tonight?!?! I know my girl at 17hh has had 2 foals, but from the size of the foals - they dond hide that easily?!?! Or do they!?

It is possible that the mare is due to foal this year however it is worth bearing in mind that the mare may have just weaned this years foal so her milk may not have dried up yet which means you may not see a foal until next year. My advice is to have a proper repro vet come and scan the mare to see what stage her pregnancy is at then you will know for definite whether it is coming soon or not until next year.
