Please help me decide ... Moving yards

Im considerIng moving yards as I need to find more facilities for me and my horse but I've been at my place for 3 years and feel they have looked after my horse so well I'm worried things won't be so good if I move.

Differences -

Current yard - full livery, large competition yard, great care but no decent hacking from yard and very limited use of school (not before 2pm) and I can only really ride in the morning so have to hack alone on lanes. no outside instructors or help allowed.

New yard- small private yard (3 stables) full use of school anytime near a forest for brilliant hacking, a farm next door with ponies for kids to play with. cheaper livery costs.

Is there enough incentive to move or am I just thinking the grass is greener?

I'm with the others. The new yard is more what you want, and you may be doing a favour to whoever replaces you at your current yard. You will be leaving on good terms so won't have burnt your bridges if by chance it doesn't work out. Move.

move! if you can only ride in the mornings and you can't ride in the arena until after 2pm which means hacking on lanes alone and you want more then leave.

Seriously ???? This is a no brainer for me, i cant believe youre asking, id move before they change their mind.
It sounds similar to what ive got,sole rent of 4 stables, enough grazing for my horses, great hacking, sole use of floodlit sand and rubber arena, horse shower,solarium and Its 5 mins from the house.

OMG - you'll have a brilliant time and the freedom to enjoy yourself and your horse exactly how and when you want - move!!!!! But be prepared for politics which may come with a clique, just keep your head down, don't moan at all and smile, remember to say Good Morning and you'll have to invest a tiny bit more time with other liveries, but that may be nice for hacking out. Also if you go to a food or hay supplier, you'll need to ask if you can get anything for someone
