Please Help - Missing English Pointer

My beautiful and beloved English Pointer Bitch, Dash, went missing from Cornwalls coastal path. She is black and White, very gentle and sweet, a little timid. Her head is mostly black. I know this is a really long shot, but have tried everything - been searching for a full four days from daybreak to dark. If you know of anyone suddenly getting a mature (4 years) bitch, could you let me know? Substantial reward offer - no questions asked. Would do anything to get her back, am beyond heartbroken.
 
Hi - thanks, marinas is a good idea. done all the usual - even got the coastguard to check over the cliffs where we couldn't see. Local radio, all vets, notices, animal shelters, microchip alert - cant think of anything else, but any and all ideas gratefully received....
 
Have had a quick look at her on Doglost and notice that a young black lab was taken from its garden in that area last November. Hmm, would be contacting the owners to see if you could share postering/handing out fliers at events (fetes/dog shows/car boot sales etc).

What exactly happened. Did the dog run off chasing and does she normally go far from you? Does she tend to stay in your sight? Is she likely to go up to strangers?

I would also inform the police if you have not already done so and try and get a crime number. I did this when my chap went missing whilst walking, I was sure he was taken although I never saw anything.

If you can interest the police and get a CN, there is a website called Its Been Nicked which you can post him on. Its only been going a couple of years but is getting more and more popular.
