please help, new horse bucked rider off!!

One thought if you are still struggling to trust her (although now I'm now sure I believe what the girl told you as especially if a teenager have a habit of exaggerating!), is to use a stock saddle. These are brilliant for bucking horses, youngsters, polocrosse and leaning out doing strange activities like I do.

I would highly recommend to anyone suffering with confidence problems, or a spooky horse that keeps dumping them!

Thank you jen cots, I hadn't thought of that but yes, it might be a good idea! Anything to give me more confidence!
Also, while on the subject of tack... We have a big problem getting the bridle over her ears as she hates them being touched and end up having to completely dismantle it to put it on.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of a bridle that would make things easier? A headcollar style or something? Or maybe a detatchable browband?
Thanks

Quite agree, I never have but apparently though if you do come off in them....big ouch!

I have an earshy pony, I got a saddler to make a browband with press stud fasteners and put it on last. Best £20 I ever spent.

My one of my is badly ear shy, i foun the tecnika (sp?) Bridles great. We take the cheek peices off and just slip the.browband off one side as the head peice is all one peice slip it round her head and do up. I can now put it on like a hat then once its all done up put the bit in.

Xx
