Not trying to rain upon your parade, but aren't the hand signals we use as riders are the same that are used by police when controlling traffic?

Yes they are, its the highway code so ALL drivers should be aware of it!. Its not my petition and I think its poorly worded but it already has a lot of signatures on it so didn't want to start a new one. Its more about getting a tv advert like the "Think Bike" campaign.
