please help

Sorry cannot - might seem mean but the D on the right is on the wrong way round, you have the flap of the saddle on the left caught under your knee, the noseband is crooked and the forelock under the browband. The spare links of the curb should be hooked up.
To many things wrong for me to like or to deserve a prize.

I thought Fh49 was being a bit mean until I looked at the photo. I'm only viewing it on my phone but you seem to be sitting very crooked and is that the strap from the numnah I can see hanging down on the right? Sorry but it all looks very untidy to me.

lol one this is a pic before i had my back op and i was doing my girth up that's why i am not sitting right. The bridle was also new and trying out for size along with the bit. I did not ask for cc or is it advertising as the horse is never to be for sale.

No, but you did ask people to "like" the photo, and that is why you are getting this feedback. If nothing else you should always take the forelock out from under the browband..just trying it on or not.

I would say that since you list yourself as a pastel artist and run competitions to win a picture on your FB it is advertising - I didn't mean for the horse.

Thing is, if people on here think it an untidy photo, why do you think the artist would choose it? Surely you must have nicer photos than that to submit of the very sweet looking horse.

I noticed the roundings fitted inside out but then looking very closely at the chain hooks, realised that it's not that the roundings are inside out but the whole bit has been fitted to the bridle the wrong way round!

Regardless of the bridle and whether the photo was just caught at a bad time as you were doing your girth, your horse is gorgeous!

FFS!!!! This is why this forum has a bad name and puts off people posting!!!

Your horse is very pretty and unless the artist is as anal as some of the posters on here, I am sure they won't mind a misfitted bit.

Good luck x

facebook is blocked at school but will vote later... we all make mistakes :) My ex once tried to put the saddle on backwards ;)

Thank you and yes can see why people don't post . Its the horse world for you mind. wish i had of put pic of me kitten up now..lol

Your horse is very handsome, he has a lovely look about him.

Regardless of the bridle issue, I like interesting photo's that catch a moment in time and leave you to wonder about the subjects in the picture and the ordinariness of daily life.

He i wish it was a he be better behaved...lol thank you i have a few my little girl took that day this one is best one i could find of her face from the front not side shot.

OMG, now I remember why I don't come on here much, some posters are just downright nasty. The OP asked you to like the picture of FB, not get a deluge of abuse from invisible nasty people. You make me ashamed to have my name associated with this group, however, you nasty people are a minority, a drip in an ocean, thank fully.

OP, a moment in time caught for prosperity x Your composition deserves a like x

Oh I can better your photo. Try the first time I ever tried to put a pelham onto my horse.. and then could NOT work out why the curb was dangling 4" under his chin. In my defense it was a straight bar pelham but it was upside down..

but agree, the comments could have been a little kinder! I put up a photo of a lovely head shot of my youngster on Facebook. I had not expected a photographer to be at unaffiliated event so had gone overboard on my first plaiting attempts on my horse. Think dressage plaits and lot of them (not my normal style). I thought the photo was lovely but was rather hurt when people chose to focus on my plaits and not the fact that it was a lovely snapshot in time of my boys head. Of course I would normally do the requisite number and would have put them lower but on this occasion, got a little carried away and didn't think it would matter..
