please help

If people don't want to like the photo, why can't they just move quietly on without leaving nasty comments in their wake?

I wasn't intending to be nasty - the poster herself says it's her first time with a pelham, she didn't know it was backwards, unless anyone else has pointed it out to her she'd have carried on like that. So sorry my comment wasn't sugar coated.

Then you don,t know anything about me or the pic or when it was taken, but you still had ago not that i asked is my bit on right or does my take look good. Did not ask for sugar coated just a leave it be would have been better. Also to point out not till later on in post did i say was first time with one, but that don't count does it really.

I wasn't meaning your post so much jemima*askin - I agree that a wrongly fitted bit needs to be pointed out.

But some of the other posts were.....less than charitable...

The bit its self was fitted fine. was just the rounders, but that does not stop it working or does it hurt.I have a thing i don't like the buckle being on the inside facing the horse safety ones or not.

The bit was the wrong way round, badly fitted, crap photo with most of the horses tack thrown on, but we must not comment in a negative way. Get a grip all of you. Like the photo.........hate it and no excuses.

You might not like how the horse is tacked up but I'm sure you can get your opinion across without being so ruddy nasty.

sure a charmer.

Thank you for them that have liked :)

dont post a picture of a badly tacked up horse and not expect a critique. thank god not everyone on this forum is a fluffy bunny hugger

Ok, my opinion is that some of you were a little harsh!
I know I have some photo's of my horse that to the "outside" person wouldn't look like an amazing picture and you may wonder why some of my favourites are so loved.
Its because they capture my horses personality rather than make him look amazing, something in the way he's looking/standing.
One of my favourite photo's of my daughters pony I'm doing up her girth and she's leaning awkwardly to one side and we are chattering- He has his ears pricked and a really sweet "hurry up lets go" look about him :) It makes me smile just to look at it.
Admittedly there are mistakes that have not been pointed out and can be rectified re. the tack

People bug me when they come on forums & are billy big b@ls bringing people down coz its not perfect.! NO ONE IS PERFCT, few little mistakes but so what?? Still a good picture. Some horsey people like to nit pick.. Lovely photo wildwoman

Op sorry do not like the photo.

Just musing really but why do you? I'm sure like any of us you have tonnes of pictures of your horse, this is basically unflattering imo as it doesnt show any outstanding definition to its head or even the character of the subject, stading aside from the badly fitting tack the lighting isn't spectacular and it is very flat, no life to it.
You have had poor comments on a poor picture, I would love to see a decent picture of your horse. In the right light chestnuts are lovely to photograph because the light can play on their coats beautifully.
I not a photographer btw just like taking pictures :)

I hate when people do this. People should win these things because they have the best picture, not because they have more friends to vote for them that others.
