I am having some problems with my horse, he rears when he naps to other horses, he is very sensetive in the mouth so any pressure and he just goes higher, i have tried being strong with my leg and tried to send him forward but this just seems to send him higher ! He has nothing wrong with is back, teeth, saddle ect and recieves physio anyway once a month or so who says he is absolutely fine :/ I am really worried because rearing is dangerous and it makes me very nervous, if anyone has any tips or experience with this please please helpp thank youu x

Just a thought - is he in pain in his feet? One of ours would rear with foot pain (collateral ligaments) he did not look lame - but it was a good "early warning" sign that things were playing up again. He would look "footy" a few days later until we realised what was going on. Have you tried either a very experienced rider or a good instructor to help you? If it is new behavour I bet it is pain related even if you cannot find an obvious cause.
