Ooh, I had several ponies from the late breeder of her prefix to back, some to produce and show! M. Columba, M. Gallinago, M. Lapwing and others.

Gallinago was her sire! She was nearly shot when the stud disbanded, but one of the vets who graded Exmoors got her out, back in 2009. I bought her off them when the severe sweet itch manifested itself, rendering her unsuitable for continuing the bloodline.

When the breeder passed away after a horrible illness, her daughter didn't follow the will or wishes regarding the ponies, v sad.
Galli was a super chap to back and produce (a bit of a jack the lad to start with but soon grew up). He had a very very good season out with me, prolific across most of the southern counties, in hand, ridden and whp and finished by going to Olympia in 94 (I think! have got photos somewhere) before going home for stud duties and then on with her jockeys.
