After some months half heartedly searching, I've seen and applied to re-home a little whippet x from a rescue. She looks just like the image I've had in my head about what 'my next one' will look like. I won £5 on the lottery, so maybe my luck is in and I'll get a chance to call her mine?! Failing that, obviously I want her to go to the next best home!

Don't think she will be coming home with me... one of the kennel dog walker volunteers offered her a home. They were having a home check today, and to be honest, obviously lived closer so it probably is for the best for the dog.
I'll find another new family friend sometime soon I hope!
